Cinematographic thinking runs through my choreographic research like a deep source, a guiding thread.
Everything begins with the image – its vibration, emotional charge, and mystery. I don’t aim to tell a linear story, but to open a narrative space that is fluid, non-verbal, where the body becomes the vessel of a sensitive memory. The image acts as a trigger: it suggests, disturbs, evokes.
I create mood boards as emotional maps, allowing aesthetic, empathic, and relational elements to surface. I study light, textures, landscapes – urban or wild – like silent scores that guide movement. Each visual fragment becomes a territory to be explored through the body.
I like to set tension, to invite strangeness, to conjure an intimate and unsettling atmosphere. A space where surreal storytelling emerges, supported by the intensity and authenticity of presence. A living body that animates the image – and is, in turn, transformed by it.
