Pawel Malicki

Dancer, choreographer, lives in Poznań. He is a graduate of the National Post-Secondary School of Cultural Animators in Kalisz, specialising in ‘contemporary dance’, and of the Faculty of Pedagogy, specialising in ‘pre-school education and initial training’. In 2013, he was awarded the Fryderyk Chopin Choreographer’s Diploma in Warsaw as a graduate of the Choreography and Dance Theory Master’s programme at the Higher School of Music.

Between 2004 and 2006, he was a dancer in Witold Jurewicz’s ALTER dance theatre. Since May 2006, he has been a student and since 2009 – after graduating from the General Ballet School in Poznań – a dancer with the Polish Dance Theatre PTT.

He is working as a soloist with the PTT until 2020. He has danced leading roles in choreographies by Ohad Nahrin, Paulina Wycichowska, Yossi Berg Thierry Verger, Yoshiko Waki, Takako Matsuda, Jo Strømgren and many others. Since 2021, he has been dancing with Nathalie Larquet in ‘A Tiny Cut in a Velvet Dress’ and ‘Über die Besiegten einer Neuen Zeit’.
